The Christian Dior Logo Star Gold Embroidered Knit Top in off-white is the tonal counterpart to the House’s navy jacquard version — the same composition (the “CHRISTIAN DIOR” text panel, the star and flower motif above, the horizontal stripe framing above and below), but realised through an entirely different technique and in an entirely different chromatic register. Where the navy version builds its logo through white jacquard — the pattern woven into the fabric structure for maximum graphic contrast — the off-white version works the same composition in gold thread embroidery: the lettering, the star, and the stripe lines all stitched onto the ivory knit ground in metallic gold, the result warm and luminous rather than graphic and collegiate.

The silhouette also differs: where the navy version has a mock neck and straight short sleeves, the off-white version has a crew neck with a gold-trimmed edge and puff sleeves — the sleeve cap gathered into a gentle volume that references the House’s couture construction language and gives the piece a femininity that the more graphic navy version does not pursue. The gold trim at neck, sleeve edges, and the double hem stripe ties every edge of the garment into the same metallic register as the embroidered logo.
